A specialist consultancy, deliberately small #

Duvaryne LLP is an AWS and DevOps consultancy based in Bengaluru, Karnataka. We are DPIIT-recognised, we work across India, and we work remotely with engineering teams in the US and EU.

We are small on purpose. Most consulting engagements fail in one of two ways: a strategy deck arrives and nothing gets built, or juniors are parachuted in behind a senior name on the pitch. The structure below is the fix for both — the person who reviews your account is the person who does the work.

Abhinav Banerjee — Founder and Principal Engineer #

Thirteen years of hands-on production infrastructure: cloud migration, container platforms, automation and the kind of on-call that teaches you which architectures actually survive contact with traffic.

Credentials, all verifiable:

  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) — the CNCF-administered, hands-on examination for production Kubernetes operations. Not a multiple-choice paper.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate — AWS architecture, security and cost design.
  • Professional Certificate in DevOps, IIT Madras — formal training in CI/CD, infrastructure as code and site reliability practice.

Naming the engineer matters more than it looks. A consultancy attributable to nobody is one you cannot check. Everything on this site — every architecture decision, every number — traces back to a named person who can be asked about it.

What we have actually delivered #

Our case studies document measurable outcomes rather than adjectives. Compute spend cut 50–60% on a production EKS estate using Karpenter with Spot consolidation. Node provisioning reduced from roughly four minutes to about forty-five seconds. A recovery time objective under fifteen minutes for multi-region failover, verified by an actual region-failover test rather than a document. Cryptographic image attestation with Cosign and Kyverno that blocks unsigned artifacts at the cluster boundary. A ninety percent reduction in after-hours alerts.

Every one of those numbers came out of a production engagement, and each is described in full technical detail — the architecture decisions, the tooling, and the parts we would do differently.

Client identity withheld under NDA. Architecture and outcomes described as delivered. That protection extends to you.

How an engagement runs #

Scope is written and priced fixed before work begins. No hourly meters, no discovery phase you pay for, no scope that quietly expands.

Delivery is embedded. We build the pipeline and the infrastructure alongside your engineers and document it as we go, because a platform only one consultancy understands is a liability rather than an asset.

Everything is Infrastructure as Code, in your repository, under your account. There is no lock-in to us, by design. If you want to take it in-house in a year, the handover is a git clone.

Handover or retainer — your call. Where there is no platform engineer to hand over to yet, we stay on a monthly retainer as a fractional platform function. That is often the right answer for a team of eight to twenty engineers: senior platform capability without carrying a senior platform salary before you need to.

Who we are a good fit for #

  • Startups that need a production-ready AWS foundation without hiring a platform team yet.
  • Companies whose AWS bill has grown faster than their traffic and who want to know why.
  • Teams facing an audit — SOC 2, ISO 27001, DPDP — who need the infrastructure evidence to exist.
  • Engineering leaders who want a second senior opinion before committing to an architecture.

Who we are not a fit for #

If you run three services with predictable traffic and a bill under a few hundred dollars a month, you probably do not need us yet — and we will tell you that on the call rather than sell you a landing zone.

If you are looking for the cheapest possible hourly rate, we will not be it. If you need someone to own the outcome without involving your engineers, we are the wrong shape; embedded delivery is how we work and it requires your team's time.

And if we read your account and find nothing meaningful to recover, we will say so. It happens. Saying it is worth more to us than a small engagement.

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers to what technical buyers actually ask before a first call.

Who will actually be doing the work?

The engineer who reviews your account is the engineer who does the work. Duvaryne is deliberately small and senior; there is no bench of juniors behind a senior name on the pitch. If that changes on a given engagement, you will be told who is working on what before you sign anything.

Is Duvaryne a registered company?

Yes. Duvaryne LLP is a limited liability partnership registered in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, and is recognised by DPIIT, the Government of India's Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade. We work across India and remotely with teams in the US and EU.

Why are your case studies anonymous?

Every client engagement is under NDA. We describe the architecture and the outcomes exactly as delivered, and we never name the client, their industry, their size or their region. That protection applies to you too, which is the point — it is a standing commitment, not a limitation.

What are you not good at?

We do not build websites, mobile apps or custom application software. We do not do end-user IT, helpdesk or procurement. We are not the cheapest hourly rate available, and we will not pretend a small predictable workload needs a platform team. Those are all things we will tell you on a first call.
